If you are looking to view material from our Archival Collection, please send an email to historian@co.montgomery.ny.us at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled visit, and put "Archival resource request" in the subject line of the email. Be specific in your request by providing title, date span, family name and document # (if applicable) of archival material you wish to view.

Montgomery County Department of History & Archives is not a lending library, therefore materials must be viewed on-site.
